We are seeking applications for a community-minded individual, who thrives on helping others and supporting a range of different community groups, businesses, organisations and individuals.
The electorate officer role is based in the Invermay office of the Liberal Member, Rob Fairs MP, and the successful person will be a friendly, supportive and highly-organised individual, who will be the first point of contact for the Member’s constituents in the electorate of Bass which covers the North and North-East of Tasmania.
Good communication and strong administration skills are key to this position, along with a willingness to support a Liberal member with stakeholder and community engagement at a local level and an interest in learning more about politics. Applicants should be able to work autonomously, have strong attention to detail and be able to manage a wide variety of tasks including assisting with social media and marketing support.
