We're seeking a detail-oriented individual who is looking to grow a long lasting professional administrative career within an organisation that offers ongoing mentoring, training, career opportunities and a supportive environment.
The role:
As an Administrative Assistant you will work closely with our Legal Assistants to provide administrative support to legal and business services staff to enhance our client experience. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
This Administrative Assistant role is designed for career progression to a Legal Assistant role and is best suited for individuals who are not currently studying.
Skills & experience:
This role is ideal for a client focused individual who enjoys working collaboratively and is looking to build a career in legal support.
To be successful you will have:
6-18 months administrative experience.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Previous customer service experience.
The ability to work five days per week in the office, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Demonstrated enthusiasm and proactivity in the workplace.
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Strong time management and organisational skills; ability to prioritise your time across several busy matters.
Good written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
Your day will involve:
Delivering high quality, accurate work whilst managing deadlines, responding to change and the competing priorities of all work.
Scanning, printing, or photocopying relevant documents as and when required by the relevant practice group support colleague or Lawyer.
Providing ad-hoc support to the practice group such as dealing with incoming mail, expense management, booking meeting rooms, amending documents and any other administrative duties.
Preparing files for archiving and manage return and retrieval of files following firm guidelines.
