About the role
As the Sales Manager within our established team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business development and expansion to achieve our sales and financial goals.
Your responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, developing growth strategies with existing clients, proposal creation, implementing new business initiatives, establishing strategic supplier partnerships and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders for CTM M&E across Australia.
In addition to focusing on developing and executing sales initiatives, you must bring a creative approach that our clients have come to expect from CTM M&E. Your ability to understand prospective clients' business needs, along with their travel and event requirements, will be crucial in your role.
The right person will have
Extensive Experience: At least 5 years of experience with a deep understanding of the MICE market, the travel industry, key stakeholders, and developing sales campaigns.
Proven Sales Success: A demonstrable track record of sales achievement in a MICE environment.
Established Network: A network of contacts and knowledge of relevant market opportunities.
Comprehensive Sales Skills: Proficiency in account planning, negotiation, budget creation, account management, and tender processes.
CRM Proficiency: Experience with a Client Relationship Management (CRM) software tool.
Willingness to Travel: Ability and willingness to travel as required, as the role has a national focus.
Self-Motivation: The drive and ability to work autonomously to achieve business goals.
Organisational Skills: Strong time management skills to effectively meet both client and CTM M&E business needs.
